The Duroché Chambertin Clos de Bèze 2012, a Burgundy Grand Cru, comes from the clay-limestone soils of the Clos de Bèze. This Pinot Noir aged in oak barrels captivates with its aromas of ripe fruit and spices. Balanced and mineral, it pairs beautifully with red meats or cheeses through 2030.
Domaine Duroché
Five generations of family expertise rooted in Gevrey-Chambertin, where Pinot Noir flourishes on exceptional terroirs.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of Burgundy's grands crus, where chalky minerality shapes wines of rare precision.
- Winemaking: Aged in oak barrels, respectful of the fruit and the natural tension of the grape variety.
Tasting notes for Domaine Duroché Chambertin Clos de Bèze 2012
To the eye: Deep ruby robe with garnet reflections, of a silky and luminous density.
On the nose: Aromas of fresh morello cherry, delicate violet, subtle licorice and damp undergrowth, lifted by a saline and chalky touch.
On the palate: Velvety texture, lively acidity and persistent minerality, carried by a long and elegant finish where soft spices and dark fruits intertwine.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
Vintage 2012
A vintage marked by balanced ripeness and preserved freshness, ideal for wines with aging potential.
- Aging potential: 15 to 20 years, to be kept in a cool cellar (12–14°C) away from light.
