The Robert Groffier Chambertin Clos de Bèze 2023, Grand Cru from Burgundy, reveals a limestone and marl terroir. This Pinot Noir, aged in new barrels, captivates with its aromas of black fruits and spices, its velvety texture and its chalky finish. Ideal with game or truffles.

Nestled in the heart of Morey-Saint-Denis, this family estate embodies the excellence of great Burgundy wines since the 1950s. A story of passion passed down through the generations, where each cuvée reflects the soul of an exceptional terroir.
- Terroir : Prestigious plots of the Côte de Nuits – Chambertin Clos de Bèze, Bonnes Mares, Chambolle-Musigny – where clay-limestone soils and ideal exposures sculpt wines of rare depth.
- Winemaking : Traditional methods, long macerations and aging in new oak barrels to reveal the purity of Pinot Noir, without artifice.
Tasting notes for Domaine Robert Groffier Chambertin Clos de Bèze Grand Cru 2023
To the eye – A deep purple robe with garnet highlights, of a silky density that already hints at the richness of the wine.
On the nose – First aromas of wild blackberry and black cherry, followed by a touch of blood orange zest, then deeper notes of gentle spices and rose petals, all underscored by a chalky minerality and a saline hint.
On the palate – A broad and velvety texture, carried by a lively and precise acidity, where powdery tannins envelop the palate before giving way to a long, mineral finish marked by nuances of liquorice and flint.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy glass to fully release its expression.

A vintage where freshness and concentration balance with rare elegance, offering a wine that is both approachable in its youth and endowed with remarkable potential.
- Aging potential : 15 to 25 years, to be kept under optimal conditions (stable temperature between 12 and 14°C, controlled humidity).
