Le Sot l'Y Laisse, a superb restaurant in the 11th arrondissement

In the bistro-bobo-nomic 11th arrondissement of Paris, former home of Vins & Millésimes, a restaurant that was very close to us (less than 200m!) delights the fine palates of our team, the neighborhood, Paris from all directions, and even many Tokyo visitors in search of French bistronomie interpreted with precision and accuracy that is entirely Japanese.

Under the leadership of Eiji Doihara, former Chef of Bistro Paul Bocuse in Tokyo, "Sot l'Y Laisse", already illustrious under the era of the ever-smiling Stéphane Chevassus now at the helm of "Vieux Chêne", serves sumptuous and flavorful dishes every day. The chef's cuisine is marked by the most sought-after products of the French terroir such as salt meadow lamb, veal sweetbreads, pan-fried foie gras, pigeons, turbot, pollock, etc., revisited with modernity and talent, without forgetting nods to Japanese standards such as tuna belly or black sesame blancmange.

A table and a shelf beautifully stocked with bottles serves as the wine list. Enthusiasts will be able to choose from the remarkable crus of Antoine Arena, François Villard, Jean-Louis Trapet or Emmanuel Reynaud ( Fonsalette , RayasPignan... ), among others, or taste a selection of natural wines, in the style of the neighborhood...In short, Sot l'Y Laisse is a restaurant that we highly recommend, whether you are 200m or 200km away!
Menus at 18/24€ for lunch. Much more gastronomic menu in the evening at 50-60€. Reservation almost essential.
