A family estate rooted in Sarrians, amid the sun-drenched lands of the Rhône Valley, where the art of viticulture is passed down with exacting care.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils and rounded pebbles of the Vacqueyras appellation, bathed in Mediterranean light, shape wines that are both generous and precise.
- Winemaking: Emmanuel Reynaud’s artisanal method combines tradition and patience to reveal the soul of Grenache and the depth of the terroir.
Tasting notes for Château des Tours Vacqueyras 2017
Appearance: A deep red color with garnet highlights, dense and silky.
Nose: Wild blackberry and black cherry aromas emerge first, followed by notes of licorice, dried thyme and a mineral touch reminiscent of the garrigue after rain.
Palate: A full, fleshy opening, with lively acidity balancing the richness of the fruit, while chalky minerality and a saline finish linger elegantly.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux-style red wine glass to fully release its aromas.
