Tasting notes for the wine Château des Tours Côtes du Rhône blanc 2004
To the eye: Golden robe with amber reflections, dense and luminous, betraying an unctuous texture and a silky substance.
On the nose: Aromas of green almond and ripe white fruits intertwine with notes of anise and beeswax, lifted by a saline and mineral touch.
On the palate: Rich and velvety attack, balanced by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, for a long and persistent finish.
Serve at 12°C in a Burgundy-style white wine glass, to reveal its full complexity.
Vintage 2004
A vintage marked by optimal maturity of the grapes, offering white wines of great richness while retaining a beautiful freshness.
- Aging potential: To be cellared for another 5 to 8 years in a cool cellar away from light, to allow its complex aromas to develop.
