Tasting notes for Château d'Yquem Yquem 1991
To the eye – A golden robe with amber highlights, dense and luminous, like liquid honey captured in the glass, revealing an unctuous texture from the very first glance.
On the nose – An enchanting bouquet where candied orange, acacia honey, a touch of fresh ginger and a mineral hint of flint stone mingle, all enveloped in a vanilla sweetness imparted by oak.
On the palate – The texture is silky, almost tangible, carried by a lively acidity that balances the rich sweetness; flavors of roasted pineapple and crème brûlée stretch into a saline and persistent finish of rare elegance.
Serve at 13°C in a Bordeaux-style white wine glass to fully release its aromas.

A vintage marked by spring rains, offering a surprisingly delicate Yquem where freshness blends with remarkable aromatic complexity.
