This Puligny-Montrachet 2006 from Coche-Dury, born on clay-limestone soils, combines minerality and complexity. Vinified in barrels, it captivates with its notes of toasted almonds and its lively palate. Ideal with shellfish or cream-braised poultry, it will keep for another 5 to 10 years.
Domaine Coche-Dury
Nestled in the heart of Meursault, this family estate has embodied Burgundian excellence for generations, combining tradition and precision.
- Terroir : Clay and limestone soils in the Côte de Beaune, the cradle of great Chardonnays, where each plot reveals a unique minerality.
- Winemaking : Extended lees aging in barrels, yielding wines of silky tension and chalky depth.
Tasting notes for Coche-Dury Puligny-Montrachet Les Enseignères 2006
To the eye – Golden robe with green highlights, of an unctuous and luminous texture, like a veil of silk over stone.
On the nose – Aromas of white flowers and candied citrus, followed by notes of toasted almonds and roasted hazelnut, before a saline touch reminiscent of sea spray.
On the palate – A lively and precise attack, carried by a taut acidity and a chalky minerality, leading to a long, saline finish where freshness and depth intertwine.
Serve at 12–14°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
Vintage 2006
A well-balanced vintage, where the ripeness of the grapes is paired with a vibrant acidity, delivering a wine that is both generous and structured.
- Aging potential : Best cellared for 10 to 15 years in a cool, humid cellar, away from vibrations.
