The François Carillon Puligny-Montrachet 2023 is born from the clay-limestone soils of Puligny-Montrachet. This barrel-aged Chardonnay reveals aromas of white fruits and honey, with a taut, mineral palate. Serve after one hour of decanting, with poultry or shellfish. Ageing potential: 2032.
Nestled in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, this family estate embodies the understated elegance of the great wines of Burgundy.
- Terroir : 16 hectares of vines rooted in clay-limestone soils, the cradle of the finest appellations of Puligny-Montrachet.
- Vinification : a blend of tradition and precision, with fermentations in oak barrels and ageing that respects the biodynamic rhythm.
To the eye – A golden robe with green highlights, of silky clarity and chalky brilliance.
On the nose – Aromas of pink grapefruit and fresh kumquat, followed by a hint of acacia honey and a saline minerality reminiscent of flint stones.
On the palate – Dense and precise texture, carried by a lively acidity and mineral tension; the long, saline finish reveals notes of crunchy white fruits and a subtle noble bitterness.
Serve between 8 °C and 10 °C in a Burgundy glass to bring out its purity.
A vintage marked by balanced maturity, where freshness and concentration harmoniously complement each other.
- Ageing potential : To be cellared until 2032, or even 2048 under optimal conditions (cool, humid cellar).
