Dom Pérignon Vintage 2017, from the chalky soils of Champagne, blends Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Aged for eight years, this champagne reveals a golden robe and a fine effervescence. Notes of petrichor and jasmine on the nose, with a mineral and taut palate. Ideal with seafood or lamb, through to 2054.
Dom Pérignon has embodied Champagne excellence since 1921, rooted in the grand crus of the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs. An unceasing quest for balance between boldness and precision.
- Terroir : The chalky soils of Champagne, between Reims and Épernay, offer a unique minerality and vibrant freshness, enhanced by exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
- Vinification : Meticulous blending, extended aging on lees and minimal dosage to reveal the purity of the fruit and the complexity of time.
- In appearance : Golden robe with green highlights, animated by a fine and persistent effervescence, with a silky and luminous texture.
- On the nose : Aromas of petrichor blending the warmth of the earth with the freshness of jasmine, followed by notes of candied citrus zest, white flowers and a saline, chalky touch.
- On the palate : A generous and creamy attack, where exotic and vegetal flavors unfold, carried by an elegant tension between bitterness and acidity, richness and minerality, leading to a sparkling and lingering finish.
Serve between 8 and 10 °C in a flared Champagne flute to release its aromas.
A vintage marked by climatic contrasts, where historic heat and spring frosts forged grapes of rare ripeness, combining richness and tension.
- Aging potential : To be cellared until 2054 under optimal conditions (12–14 °C, away from light).
