The Cristal 2013 from Louis Roederer, from 7 Grands Crus, blends Pinot Noir (60%) and Chardonnay (40%) on chalky terroirs. Aged 32% in barrels, it offers minerality, lively tension and a discreet dosage (8 g/l). Perfect until 2030 with pan-fried turbot or scallops with truffles.

A family house founded in 1776, Louis Roederer embodies Champagne excellence through its roots in the Grands Crus and its historic heritage.

To the eye: A golden robe with green highlights, of crystalline brilliance and an unctuous texture, like a veil of liquid silk.
On the nose: Aromas of white flowers (hawthorn, jasmine) intertwine with notes of candied citrus, toasted brioche and fresh hazelnut, lifted by a saline and chalky touch.
On the palate: A lively and precise attack, carried by a taut acidity and a chalky minerality, which blossoms into a long and saline finish, where ripe yellow fruits and gentle spices mingle.
Serve between 8 and 10°C in a tall champagne flute to preserve its freshness and aromatic brilliance.
