The palate, silky and taut, captivates with its freshness and persistence. Ideal for 10 to 20 years of cellaring, it is sublime alongside roast duck or black truffle.
Domaine de la Romanée-Conti
Nestled in the heart of Vosne-Romanée, this legendary estate has embodied Burgundian excellence for eight centuries, combining family heritage and artisanal precision.
- Terroir : Its plots, rooted in the clay-limestone and marly soils of the Côte de Nuits, sculpt wines of unique minerality and depth, reflecting the soul of the Grands Crus.
- Vinification : A respectful approach, where patience and traditional craftsmanship preserve the purity of Pinot Noir, yielding cuvées of timeless elegance.
Tasting notes for Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Romanée-Saint-Vivant 2022
- In the glass : A deep ruby robe with garnet highlights, of a silky and luminous texture, like liquid velvet catching the light.
- On the nose : An airy bouquet where wild strawberry, fresh mint, white pepper and a hint of blood orange mingle, before blossoming into notes of gentle spices and a chalky, almost saline minerality.
- On the palate : A lively and precise attack, carried by silky-fine tannins, a taut acidity and a persistent minerality, giving way to a long and harmonious finish, where aromas of ripe red fruits and exotic spices unfold.
Serve at 14–16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
