The La Tâche Grand Cru 1989, Pinot Noir from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, originates from Vosne-Romanée. Its notes of dark fruits, truffle and spices combine with a silky, mineral palate. Perfect through 2030, it accompanies game and cheeses with finesse.

Nestled in the heart of Vosne-Romanée, this legendary estate has embodied Burgundian excellence for centuries, combining family heritage with an absolute mastery of the terroir.
- Terroir : Clay-limestone and marly soils of the Côte de Nuits, the cradle of the most coveted Grand Crus, where each plot reveals a unique expression of Pinot Noir.
- Vinification : Traditional methods and biodynamics, with drastically limited yields to preserve the purity and complexity of the cuvées.

Tasting notes for Domaine de la Romanée-Conti La Tâche 1989
- Appearance : Deep garnet robe with tawny highlights, of a silky density and a crystalline brilliance, betraying a perfect maturity and a velvety tannic structure.
- Nose : An enchanting bouquet where candied black cherry and wild blackberry first emerge, before giving way to notes of black truffle, licorice and undergrowth, all underscored by a mineral hint of graphite and a saline edge.
- Palate : A broad and fleshy attack, carried by a lively and precise acidity that balances a supple texture, while aromas of stewed fruits, soft spices and aged leather extend into a remarkably long finish, marked by a chalky minerality.
Serve at 16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
Vintage 1989
A sunny and generous vintage, where the summer heat allowed the grapes to reach optimal maturity, imparting a rare opulence to this wine while preserving an elegant freshness.
- Aging potential : At its peak today, this wine can still improve over 10 to 15 years under ideal storage conditions (stable temperature of 12–14°C and controlled humidity).
