Domaine de la Romanée-Conti
Nestled in the heart of Burgundy, this estate has embodied viticultural excellence for centuries, combining family heritage with artisanal precision.
- Terroir: clay-limestone and marly soils of the grands crus of Vosne-Romanée and Flagey-Echézeaux, where each plot expresses a unique identity.
- Vinification: a meticulous approach, between tradition and modernity, to reveal the purity of the Pinot Noir and the complexity of the terroirs.
Tasting notes for the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Assortment 2021 wine
To the eye – a deep red robe with garnet highlights, dense and silky, heralding a generous and precise substance.
On the nose – aromas of black cherry, violet and liquorice, followed by a hint of undergrowth and a subtle mineral note, evoking chalk and flint.
On the palate – a velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, with a long, saline finish where gentle spices and ripe fruits intertwine.
Serve between 14 and 16°C in a Burgundy glass to appreciate its full complexity.
