The Morey-Saint-Denis Premier Cru Monts Luisants 2023 Blanc from Domaine Dujac is sourced from the limestone soils of the Monts Luisants. This Chardonnay, aged in barrels, reveals aromas of citrus and white flowers. On the palate, minerality and freshness balance a silky texture. Ideal with lobster or Comté.
Domaine Dujac
Nestled in the heart of Morey-Saint-Denis, this family estate has embodied Burgundian excellence since 1968, combining tradition and innovation to reveal the purity of its terroirs.
- Terroir: Limestone and layered scree soils of the Côte de Nuits, where altitude and slopes sculpt wines of vibrant minerality.
- Vinification: Artisanal methods – hand harvesting, indigenous yeasts and barrel ageing – for cuvées of rare precision.
Tasting notes for Domaine Dujac Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru Monts Luisants 2023 Blanc
To the eye: Pale yellow robe with silver highlights, of silky clarity and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of lime zest and hawthorn blossom intertwine with notes of roasted hazelnut and crème fraîche, lifted by a saline and chalky touch.
On the palate: Ample and taut texture, driven by a lively acidity that underscores a stony minerality, leading to a long and spiced finish where nutmeg and flint linger with elegance.
Serve between 12 and 14°C in a Burgundy glass to bring out its full complexity.
2023 Vintage
A vintage marked by preserved freshness, where the balance between ripeness and mineral tension gives birth to wines of great precision.
- Ageing potential: 10 to 15 years, to be stored under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
