The Domaine Dujac Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Combottes 2023, an organic Pinot Noir, reveals aromas of red fruits, spices and undergrowth. Its palate, mineral and silky, promises a cellar life of 10–15 years. Perfect with game or aged cheeses.
Domaine Dujac
Nestled at the heart of the Côte de Nuits, this family estate has embodied Burgundian excellence and tradition since the 1960s.
- Terroir: Limestone soils and marls, between Gevrey-Chambertin and Morey-Saint-Denis, where each plot reveals a unique expression of the Pinot Noir.
- Winemaking: Biodynamic approach and whole-bunch fermentation for wines of rare precision and depth.
Tasting Notes for Domaine Dujac Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Combottes 2023
Appearance: Deep ruby robe with garnet hues, of a silky density and crystalline clarity.
On the Nose: Freshness of morello cherry and tangy raspberry, evolving towards notes of candied black cherry, damp undergrowth and liquorice, lifted by a mineral touch of gunflint.
On the Palate: A lively and precise attack, carried by velvety tannins and a saline tension that guides a long and elegant finish, where gentle spices and ripe fruits intertwine.
Serve at 14–16°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
Vintage 2023
A vintage marked by balanced ripeness and preserved freshness, offering a harmonious structure and promising aging potential.
- Aging Potential: 10 to 15 years, to be stored under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
