Domaine Léon Enchevêtrer Pinot Noir: An Exceptional Brut Nature Champagne
Discover the elegance of Domaine Léon Enchevêtrer Pinot Noir, a unique champagne from a family-run estate in Landreville, at the heart of the Côte des Bar. Since 2019, Clément Robert has carried on a tradition of craftsmanship, cultivating 8 hectares of vineyards using biodynamic practices on clay and limestone soils, ensuring a pure and authentic expression of the terroir.
This Blanc de Noirs, made from 100% Pinot Noir, comes from the historic parcels “La Chevétrée” and “La Grande Côte”. Each parcel is vinified separately, with 10 months of barrel ageing, followed by 4 months in stainless steel tanks and 14 months of lees ageing. Crafted with zero dosage (Brut Nature), it delivers exceptional intensity and minerality.
Its pale gold hue is accompanied by a fine, persistent bead of bubbles. The nose is expressive, revealing aromas of cherry, raspberry, forest floor, and wet stone. On the palate, a silky texture, saline freshness, and a lightly spiced finish create a harmonious and complex profile. Perfect as an apéritif or paired with fish and seafood, this champagne stands out for its refined character and depth.
