Discover Domaine Léon La Grande Côte Chardonnay, an exceptional cuvée from a family estate in Landreville, Côte des Bar. Taken over in 2019 by Clément Robert, this 8-hectare biodynamically farmed estate honors the legacy of his great-grandfather Léon by sublimating a unique terroir of limono-argilo-calcareous soils.
This Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature champagne stands out for its total absence of dosage (0 g/l), offering a pure, natural expression. Made from 100% Chardonnay from the historic "La Grande Côte" parcel, it is vinified for 10 months in barrels and matured for 17 months on lees, revealing a rich, complex texture.
To the eye, its pale gold color sparkles with fine bubbles. On the nose, aromas of white flowers, green apple and lemon intertwine with chalky minerality. On the palate, it reveals a lively attack, elegant freshness and a subtly bitter finish, reminiscent of citrus fruit and wet stone.
