Jacques Selosse Le Bout du Clos (Disgorgement February 2025), Grand Cru from Ambonnay, from a chalky terroir. This non-vintage Champagne, dominated by Pinot Noir, offers notes of cherry, toast and a saline minerality. Its silky, lively palate captivates. Perfect with truffles or duck breast.
A family estate rooted in Avize, where the demands of the terroir and the boldness of the winemaking redefine the art of Champagne.
- Terroir: Chalky soils of the Côte des Blancs and Grand Cru plots, where Chardonnay and Pinot Noir draw a unique minerality.
- Winemaking: Artisanal methods, aging in barrels and solera, for cuvées of rare tension and saline depth.
Tasting notes for Jacques Selosse Le Bout du Clos (Disgorgement February 2025)
To the eye: A golden robe with green highlights, of a silky texture and vivid brilliance, like a ray of sunlight on the chalk of Ambonnay.
On the nose: Aromas of ripe white fruits – Williams pear, reinette apple –, followed by notes of toasted brioche, acacia blossom and a saline touch, evoking the sea air over the hillsides.
On the palate: A precise and taut attack, where lively acidity mingles with a chalky minerality, carried by a long, saline finish, like an echo of the limestone soils.
Serve between 10 and 12°C, in a narrow Champagne flute to concentrate the aromas.

A non-vintage cuvée in which the characteristics of an exceptional terroir are concentrated, shaped by years of aging in solera.
- Aging potential: 10 to 15 years, to be stored in a cool cellar (12–14°C) away from light.
