The Ruppert-Leroy 11 12 13 Brut Nature, born on the limestone soils of the Côte des Bar, is a non-vintage Champagne in solera since 2011. Made from equal parts Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, it captivates with its minerality, citrus notes and saline finish. Ideal with oysters, through 2030.
A family estate rooted in the Côte des Bar, where biodynamics reveals the mineral soul of the Champagne terroirs.
- Terroir: Chalky and clay-limestone soils of the Montgueux and Bar-sur-Aube vineyards, shaping wines of saline tension and crystalline purity.
- Winemaking: Traditional method and perpetual solera since 2011, for living cuvées nourished by time and respect for nature.
Tasting notes for the wine Ruppert-Leroy 11 12 13 Brut Nature
To the eye: Pale golden robe with green highlights, of a silky texture and a fine, persistent effervescence.
On the nose: Aromas of crunchy green apple, hawthorn blossom, candied citrus zest, then a saline touch reminiscent of sea spray and a hint of damp chalk.
On the palate: A lively and precise attack, carried by taut acidity and chalky minerality, before a long and saline finish where notes of roasted hazelnut and toasted bread intertwine.
Serve between 8 and 10°C in a narrow Champagne flute to preserve its freshness and complexity.
Non-vintage
A cuvée assembled according to the solera principle, where each vintage since 2011 contributes to the depth and consistency of this Champagne.
- Aging potential: To be enjoyed now for its fruity brilliance, or cellared for up to 8 years in a cool cellar (12–14°C) away from light to allow its mineral nuances to develop.
