A family-owned house founded in 1776, Louis Roederer has embodied Champagne's exacting standards for more than two centuries, rooted in the Grands and Premiers Crus of Reims.
- Terroir: Chalky and limestone soils of the Montagne de Reims, where Pinot Noir and Chardonnay flourish under a northerly climate, imparting a distinctive minerality to the wines.
- Vinification: Respect for tradition – partial fermentation in oak barrels, extended ageing on lees and measured dosage – for cuvées of taut elegance and refined complexity.
Tasting notes for Louis Roederer Rosé 2017
To the eye – A pale pink robe with copper reflections, of crystalline luminosity, while the fine, persistent bubbles trace a silky chain at the surface of the glass.
On the nose – First, vivid aromas of wild strawberries and crunchy raspberries, followed by a hint of tangy blood orange, then deeper notes of rose macaron, before giving way to a saline minerality and nuances of cedar and cocoa.
On the palate – A velvety, almost luscious texture, where concentrated red fruits balance with precise acidity and a chalky freshness, leading to a long, saline and slightly spiced finish.
Serve between 8 and 10°C in a champagne flute or a white wine glass to preserve its aromatic finesse.

A vintage marked by generous ripeness, where the summer heat concentrated the fruit while preserving a characteristic mineral tension.
