The Champagne Leclerc Briant Les Basses Prières 2017, born in Hautvillers 1er Cru, blends Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on chalky soils. This Brut Zéro, aged in barrels, reveals floral, honeyed and fruity notes. Its silky, mineral palate pairs beautifully with meat and fish. To be enjoyed until 2029.

Tasting notes for the Leclerc Briant Hautvillers 1er Cru Les Basses Prières 2017 wine
– To the eye: Pale gold robe with green highlights, animated by a fine and persistent bead of bubbles, betraying a silky texture.
– On the nose: First notes of acacia blossom and summer honey, then candied apricot and a touch of cardamom, before a saline hint reminiscent of the chalky subsoil.
– On the palate: A lively and taut attack, carried by precise acidity, followed by a creamy and concentrated texture, giving way to a long, mineral finish.
