Tasting notes for Jacques Selosse Version Originale wine
- To the eye : Pale golden robe with green highlights, of silky clarity and a fine effervescence like lacework.
- On the nose : First, notes of candied citrus (lime, yuzu), followed by dried white flowers, roasted hazelnut, and a saline touch reminiscent of sea spray.
- On the palate : A lively and precise attack, carried by taut acidity and a chalky texture; the minerality extends into a long, almost saline finish, where dried fruits and soft spices intertwine.
Serve at 8°C in a tall flute or a white wine glass to preserve its freshness and elegance.
