The Jamet Côte-Rôtie Fructus Voluptas 2022 draws its elegance from the schists of Côte-Rôtie. This Syrah, with aromas of blackberry, raspberry and spices, is aged 16 months in barrels for a silky texture and mineral freshness. Ideal with red meats, it will improve over 12 to 18 years.

- Terroir : The steep schist hillsides, bathed in the continental climate of the northern Rhône, sculpt Syrahs of vibrant minerality and rare elegance.
- Winemaking : A refined approach – destemmed harvests, aging in barrels – to reveal the purity of the fruit and the tension of the terroir.

- To the eye : A deep red robe with garnet reflections, of a silky texture and chalky density that already hints at its complexity.
- On the nose : First, aromas of wild blackberry and sun-drenched raspberry, followed by notes of fresh violet, lightly toasted black pepper, and a saline touch that evokes the schists of the vineyard.
- On the palate : A lively and precise attack, where silky tannins envelop a taut acidity, carried by flavours of ripe dark fruits and a long, persistent mineral finish.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy-style red wine glass to bring out its finesse.

A vintage marked by generous ripeness and preserved freshness, where the fruit expresses itself with immediate intensity without sacrificing structure.
