The Côte-Rôtie Fructus Voluptas 2024 from Domaine Jamet, drawn from the appellation's schist soils, is a pure Syrah with aromas of dark fruit, violet and pepper. Aged 16 months in barrels, it combines freshness and silky tannins on the palate. Best enjoyed with duck breast or cellared for 12 to 18 years.

Tasting notes for the wine Domaine Jamet Côte-Rôtie Fructus Voluptas 2024
To the eye: A deep red robe with violet hues, of a silky texture and a promising density.
On the nose: Aromas of wild blackberry and fresh blackcurrant, followed by notes of peppery violet, black olive and a saline touch reminiscent of the schist of the terroir.
On the palate: A lively and precise attack, carried by fine tannins and a taut acidity, while a chalky minerality stretches into a long and harmonious finish.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy-style red wine glass to reveal its full complexity.

A vintage marked by balanced ripeness, where freshness and concentration blend together to offer a wine that is enjoyable from today.
- Ageing potential: 12 to 18 years, to be stored under optimal conditions (stable temperature, away from light).
