The Côte Rôtie Fructus Voluptas 2023, a cuvée from Domaine Jamet, is sourced from Syrah on schist. Vinified with destemmed bunches and aged 16 months in barrels, it reveals notes of cherry and blackberry, a balanced palate and a mineral finish. Ideal with lamb or to cellar for 12–18 years.

Nestled at the heart of Côte-Rôtie, this family estate embodies the demands of an exceptional terroir, passed down with passion through the generations.
- Terroir: Slate schists from the northern hillsides of the Rhône Valley, shaping Syrahs of vibrant minerality and rare elegance.
- Vinification: Artisanal and precise, blending tradition (whole bunches) and modernity to reveal the purity of the fruit and the tension of the terroir.

To the eye: A deep purple robe with garnet reflections, of a silky density and mineral brilliance that speaks of its youth.
On the nose: Freshness of morello cherry and wild blackberry, evolving towards notes of violet and white pepper, lifted by a saline and chalky touch characteristic of the appellation's schists.
On the palate: A lively and precise attack, carried by velvety tannins and a taut acidity, while a stony minerality stretches into a long, saline finish where gentle spices and dark fruits mingle.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy-style red wine glass to release its aromas.

A generous vintage in which the controlled warmth of the Rhône preserved the freshness and tension of the Syrahs, offering an ideal balance between fruit and structure.
