From the schist soils of the Côtes du Rhône, Domaine Jamet’s Côtes du Rhône Équivoque 2019 is a Syrah aged for twenty-two months in barrels. It reveals notes of dark fruit, pepper, and smoke, a silky texture, and graphite minerality. Enjoy from 2025 with red meat or game.
Nestled in the heart of the northern Rhône Valley, this family estate embodies exacting standards and a deep commitment to an exceptional terroir, passed down through generations.
- Terroir : Schist plots in the Côtes du Rhône appellation, in the shadow of Côte-Rôtie’s prestigious slopes, where Syrah draws its minerality and tension.
- Winemaking : A traditional approach, combining partial destemming with patient barrel aging to produce wines of rare elegance and remarkable precision.

Appearance – Deep red color with garnet highlights, a silky texture, and a chalky density that already hint at the wine’s complexity.
Nose – Initial aromas of wild blackberry and black cherry give way to a touch of fresh violet, followed by deeper notes of black pepper and graphite, lifted by subtle mineral salinity.
Palate – A lively, precise opening, with fine, graphite-tinged tannins wrapped around taut acidity, followed by a long, saline finish driven by persistent minerality.
