Sul Q L1803 from Domaine Ganevat is a rare Jura cuvée blending straw-dried Savagnin and Chardonnay. Aged six years in barrels, it offers honey, candied apricot and spice, with a palate that is both rich and lively. Enjoy with blue cheese or chocolate.
A family estate rooted in the Jura, where boldness and tradition come together to reveal wines of rare authenticity.
- Terroir: The Jura’s clay-limestone soils, home to forgotten grape varieties and little-known appellations, shape wines with vibrant minerality.
- Winemaking: Natural methods and extended barrel aging yield lively, precise cuvées free from unnecessary intervention.
Tasting notes for Domaine Ganevat Anne et Jean-François Ganevat Sul Q L1803
Appearance – A deep, luminous orange color.
On the nose – An alluring bouquet of candied apricot, poached quince and ripe fig, lifted by notes of dried flowers, acacia honey and a saline hint of beeswax, all wrapped in gentle spice.
On the palate – A syrupy, silky texture balanced by lively acidity, while chalky minerality carries the finish into a long, spicy caress, with each sip revealing a new nuance.
Serve at 8–10°C in a medium-sized white wine glass to let its full complexity shine.
