Château Léoville Barton A family estate rooted in the legendary terroir of Saint-Julien, where Bordeaux heritage has been passed down since 1826. - Terroir: Gravelly and clay-limestone soils of the Saint-Julien appellation, giving the wines a mineral structure and refined elegance. - Winemaking: Traditional methods combining precision and respect for the fruit, producing cuvées that are both powerful and harmonious. Tasting notes for Château Léoville Barton 2010 Appearance: A deep red robe with garnet reflections, dense and silky, revealing generous substance and beautiful intensity. Nose: A complex bouquet blending ripe black fruits (blackcurrant, black cherry), notes of cedar, blonde tobacco and a touch of roasted coffee, all lifted by a subtle chalky minerality. Palate: A broad and velvety attack, carried by fine yet present tannins, a lively acidity and a long finish where aromas of liquorice and soft spices unfold. Serve between 16°C and 18°C in a Bordeaux glass to reveal its full complexity. Vintage 2010 A sunny and balanced vintage, marked by optimal grape ripeness, offering wines that are both concentrated and remarkably fresh. - Ageing potential: To be kept until 2030 or beyond, under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
