Gruaud Larose 1995
The Château Gruaud Larose 1995, Deuxième Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Julien, was born on the Garonnais gravels. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, aged in French barrels, it reveals a ruby robe and aromas of anise and licorice. On the palate, its silky texture and freshness pair perfectly with red meats. To be enjoyed until 2032.
Château Gruaud Larose
Nestled at the heart of Saint-Julien, this historic estate has embodied Bordeaux excellence since 1725, combining family tradition and viticultural rigor.
- Terroir : Garonnais gravels, deep gravelly soils of the Saint-Julien appellation, conferring a distinctive minerality and a classic structure to the wines.
- Vinification : Aged in French oak barrels, with respect for individual plots and fermentation in cement vats to preserve the purity of the fruit and the tension of the wine.

To the eye – A ruby robe with tawny hues, of silky density and still-vivid brilliance, betraying a harmonious maturity.
On the nose – Aromas of fresh licorice, star anise and wild blackberry, lifted by a hint of chalky dust and a subtle iodine salinity.
On the palate – A texture that is both taut and velvety, carried by a precise acidity and a saline minerality, with a long and slightly spiced finish.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.

A vintage marked by balanced ripeness, where cool nights preserved the elegance of the tannins and the tension of the fruit.
