The La Cras Bourgogne 2022 rouge, made from Pinot Noir farmed biodynamically, flourishes on the chalky soils of Plombières-lès-Dijon. Aged in barrels, it reveals aromas of red fruits and a precise, mineral and silky palate. Ideal with duck breast or to cellar for 3 to 5 years.
Nestled on the heights of Plombières-lès-Dijon, this family estate embodies the alliance between Burgundian tradition and natural viticulture.
- Terroir: Limestone and marl soils of the AOC Bourgogne, fully south-facing – a chalky and mineral signature.
- Vinification: Biodynamic approach, hand-harvesting and barrel aging for wines that are vibrant, precise and taut.
Eye: Ruby robe with garnet highlights, silky and luminous in texture.
Nose: Freshness of morello cherry and raspberry, evolving toward notes of violet and licorice, underscored by a saline and chalky touch.
Palate: A lively and precise attack, silky tannins, elegant acidity and a mineral finish, carried by a saline and fruity length.
Serve at 14–15°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its purity.
A sun-drenched and balanced vintage, where the ripeness of the fruit meets a mineral freshness characteristic of the Côte's soils.
- Aging potential: To be enjoyed through 2028, stored away from light and temperature fluctuations.
