Marc Soyard Bourgogne L'Equilibriste 2022 red, from the limestone hillsides of Burgundy. Pinot Noir with aromas of cherry and raspberry, with a spiced edge. Lively, silky and mineral palate. Perfect for 2–4 years of cellaring, it pairs beautifully with duck breast or characterful cheeses.
A family estate rooted on the hillsides of Dijon, where Burgundian heritage blends with a natural and soil-respectful approach.
- Terroir: Calcareous and marly soils of the AOC Bourgogne, bearing a chalky minerality and a lively freshness.
- Vinification: Natural methods, aging in barrels to preserve the purity of Pinot Noir and reveal the balance of fruit and rock.
To the eye: Ruby robe with garnet hues, of a silky and luminous texture.
On the nose: Aromas of morello cherry and wild blackberry, followed by a hint of liquorice and a saline note reminiscent of the Dijon soils.
On the palate: A precise and taut attack, where tangy freshness meets a chalky minerality, leading to a long and elegant finish.
Serve between 14 and 16°C, in a Burgundy glass to enhance its purity.
A vintage marked by beautiful grape maturity, while retaining the tension and freshness characteristic of Burgundy wines.
- Ageing potential: To be enjoyed until 2028, stored away from light and temperature fluctuations.
