Marc Soyard Bourgogne L'Equilibriste 2022 rouge, from the limestone hillsides of Burgundy. Pinot Noir with aromas of cherry and raspberry, a hint of spice. Lively, silky and mineral palate. Perfect for 2–4 years of aging, it pairs with duck breast or full-flavored cheeses.
A family estate rooted in the hillsides of Dijon, where the Burgundian heritage blends with a natural and soil-respectful approach.
- Terroir: Limestone and marl soils of the AOC Bourgogne, carrying a chalky minerality and a lively freshness.
- Vinification: Natural methods, aging in barrels to preserve the purity of Pinot Noir and reveal the balance of fruit and rock.
To the eye: Ruby robe with garnet reflections, of a silky and luminous texture.
On the nose: Aromas of Morello cherry and wild blackberry, followed by a hint of licorice and a saline note reminiscent of the soils of Dijon.
On the palate: A precise and taut attack, where the tangy freshness marries a chalky minerality, leading to a long and elegant finish.
Serve between 14 and 16°C, in a Burgundy glass to bring out its purity.
A vintage marked by beautiful ripeness of the grapes, while retaining the tension and freshness characteristic of Burgundy wines.
- Aging potential: To be enjoyed until 2028, kept away from light and temperature variations.
