Appearance – A dense, luminous garnet color with brick-red highlights, revealing harmonious maturity and a velvety texture.
On the nose – Notes of blackcurrant preserves and wild blackberry come first, followed by a touch of cedar and light tobacco, before a hint of salinity underscores the terroir’s mineral freshness.
On the palate – A supple, silky opening, supported by lively acidity and tannins that remain present but have softened, leads to a long, chalky finish where sweet spices mingle with licorice.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to bring out its full complexity.
