Château Mouton Rothschild 1994, Premier Grand Cru Classé of Pauillac, is born from the gravelly soils of the Médoc. Blended with 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, with touches of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, it reveals aromas of blackcurrant and spices. On the palate, its silky tannins and lively minerality make it a wine of rare elegance. To enjoy until 2030 with red meats or game.
A pillar of the Médoc, this family estate has embodied the excellence of Pauillac for generations, combining tradition and innovation.
- Terroir: Deep gravels and gravelly soils of Pauillac, where Cabernet Sauvignon flourishes in both power and finesse.
- Vinification: Aged in new oak barrels, respecting the balance between tannic structure and aromatic elegance.
To the eye: A garnet red robe with tawny highlights, dense and slightly veiled by time, revealing a silky texture and a generous substance.
On the nose: Aromas of ripe blackcurrant, cedar and blonde tobacco, lifted by a touch of graphite and a saline hint reminiscent of Atlantic breezes.
On the palate: A precise attack, carried by melded yet still present tannins, a lively acidity and a chalky minerality that stretches into a long and harmonious finish.
Serving temperature: 16–18°C – Bordeaux glass to release its complex nuances.
A balanced vintage, where summer warmth and autumn freshness have sculpted a wine that is both structured and approachable.
- Ageing potential: Drink until 2030, to be stored in a cellar at a stable temperature (12–14°C) and away from light.
