Tasting notes for the wine Domaine Cécile Tremblay Vosne-Romanée Vieilles Vignes 2021
To the eye – A deep ruby robe with garnet reflections, of a silky and luminous texture.
On the nose – An airy bouquet where freshly bloomed rose petals, a touch of tangy black cherry, notes of damp undergrowth and a saline hint reminiscent of the chalky soils of Vosne all intertwine.
On the palate – A lively and precise attack, carried by fine tannins and a taut minerality, before a long and spiced finish, where a classic, almost aristocratic elegance unfolds.
To be served between 14 and 16°C, in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
