The Dehours Brut Grande Réserve Champagne is an emblematic cuvée from Domaine Dehours, a family-run estate in the Vallée de la Marne. Founded by Jérôme Dehours, the house is renowned for its artisanal approach and commitment to sustainable viticulture. This champagne perfectly showcases the unique character of the region through a precise and balanced blend.
This Brut is crafted from a Pinot Meunier-dominant blend, complemented by Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. It is produced using the perpetual reserve method, adding complexity and depth to each cuvée. The moderate dosage allows it to maintain a beautiful freshness while offering a harmonious texture.
In the glass, its pale gold hue is highlighted by fine, persistent bubbles. The nose reveals aromas of white-fleshed fruits, brioche, and dried flowers, underpinned by a subtle minerality. On the palate, the attack is lively and well-balanced, with excellent tension and a long, citrus and toasted almond finish.
Perfect as an apéritif, the Dehours Brut Grande Réserve also pairs beautifully with seafood, roasted poultry, or aged cheese.
