Discover Michel Laval Non Dosé Le Secret de Jules 2013, an exceptional champagne from the Michel Laval family estate in Boursault, in the Marne Valley. For five generations, this 2.5-hectare estate, cultivated using integrated farming methods, has honored the Pinot Meunier grape on a clay-limestone terroir nicknamed "Champagne-Bourgogne".
This vintage champagne is made from a blend of 70% Pinot Meunier for roundness and 30% Chardonnay for finesse, from old vines. The 2013 vintage is vinified in oak barrels, with spontaneous fermentation, unfiltered, and aged for 8 years on the lees, without dosage (0 g/l), revealing a rare depth.
To the eye, its deep gold color sparkles with fine bubbles. On the nose, tasting notes reveal complex aromas of candied fruit, honey and hazelnut, with a touch of brioche. On the palate, it offers a silky texture, elegant acidity and a mineral finish, blending citrus and toasty notes.
