The Roses de Jeanne Le Creux d'Enfer R21 2021 by Cédric Bouchard is a saignée rosé champagne, 100% Pinot Noir, from a chalky terroir in Champagne. Without dosage, it captivates with its aromas of red fruits and saline minerality. Ideal with scallops or to be kept for two to three years.
An estate where artisanal rigor meets the pure expression of the Champagne terroir, driven by a minimalist philosophy that respects the fruit.
- Terroir : Confidential plots in Champagne, on chalky and limestone soils, where Pinot Noir reveals a vibrant minerality and a unique tension.
- Vinification : Saignée method for the rosés, aged in neutral barrels, without dosage, to preserve the freshness and transparency of the terroir.
Tasting notes for the wine Roses de Jeanne Le Creux d'Enfer R21 2021
To the eye: a pale pink robe, of a crystalline clarity, animated by a fine and persistent effervescence, like a silky veil.
On the nose: aromas of wild strawberry and tart raspberry intertwine with notes of violet and peony, before a saline touch underlines the chalky minerality of the terroir.
On the palate: a texture at once tender and taut, carried by a lively and precise acidity, where the red fruits stretch into a saline, long and progressive finish, like a mineral echo.
Serve between 8 and 10°C, in a narrow flute to concentrate the aromas.
