Tasting notes for the wine Dominique Laurent Clos Vougeot 2000
To the eye: a ruby robe with garnet highlights, dense and silky, like a liquid velvet.
On the nose: aromas of wild strawberry and black cherry intertwine with notes of blueberry, before giving way to a mineral, almost chalky touch, and a hint of undergrowth.
On the palate: a velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and elegant tension, while the fine, tight tannins extend into a saline and persistent finish.
Serve at 15°C, in a Burgundy glass to release all its complexity.
