The Clos Vougeot 1997 from Domaine François Lamarche, a Grand Cru from Burgundy, is made from Pinot Noir grown on clay-limestone soils. Aged in barrels, it offers notes of cherry, spices and truffle. A family estate rooted in the Côte de Nuits since 1797, guardian of a viticultural heritage where precision and respect for the terroir are paramount.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of Vosne-Romanée and Clos Vougeot, where Pinot Noir expresses a chalky minerality and rare elegance.
- Winemaking: Traditional methods, aged in barrels for a silky structure and lively tension, without artifice.

In the glass: Garnet robe with tawny hues, of a silky density where light dances on a velvety substance.
On the nose: Aromas of ripe morello cherry, damp undergrowth, sweet liquorice and faded violet, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of black truffle.
On the palate: Ample and precise texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, with a long and slightly spiced finish where the purity of the fruit persists.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
