The François Carillon Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Combettes 2023, born on brown and stony soils, expresses a precise and mineral Chardonnay. Nose of white flowers and citrus, silky and taut palate. Ideal from 2030 with shellfish or poultry in sauce.
Anchored in the heart of Puligny-Montrachet, this family estate perpetuates a viticultural heritage where precision and respect for the terroir guide every vintage.
- Terroir : 15 hectares in the Côte de Beaune, on clay-limestone and stony soils, shaping Chardonnays of a chalky minerality and taut elegance.
- Vinification : Refined methods, controlled ageing to reveal the purity of the fruit and the natural tension of the great white wines of Burgundy.
Eye: Pale golden robe, of silky clarity with silver highlights.
Nose: Aromas of hawthorn blossom, crisp apple and Williams pear intertwine with notes of candied lemon zest, before a saline touch comes to underline the chalky minerality of the terroir.
Palate: Dense and vibrant texture, carried by a precise acidity that unfolds flavours of ripe white fruits and citrus, leading to a long, saline finish marked by an elegant tension.
Serve between 12 and 14°C in a Burgundy glass to bring out its complexity.
A vintage where freshness and ripeness balance each other with precision, offering wines of remarkable mineral tension and aromatic precision.
- Ageing potential : To be kept until 2030 and beyond, under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity and away from light).
