The Jamet Côte-Rôtie 2022 Magnum embodies the schistose terroir of Côte-Rôtie. This Syrah, aged twenty-two months in barrels, reveals notes of blackcurrant, pepper and violet. Its silky, mineral palate pairs beautifully with game and aged cheeses from 2030 onwards.
Domaine Jamet
A family estate rooted in the steep hillsides of Côte-Rôtie, where the Syrah has expressed itself with rare authenticity for three generations.
- Terroir: Slate and granite schists from the northern crus of the Rhône, shaping wines of vibrant minerality and taut elegance.
- Vinification: Traditional method – whole bunches, patient ageing in barrels – for cuvées that are both precise and deep.

To the eye: An intense purple robe with garnet reflections, of a silky density and chalky brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of wild blackberry, fresh violet and black liquorice, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of white pepper.
On the palate: A velvety and taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a granitic minerality, with a long and persistent finish.
Serve at 16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
Vintage 2022
A vintage marked by ideal climatic balance, yielding wines of ripe fruit and harmonious structure.
- Ageing potential: 15 to 20 years in a cool cellar away from light, for a slow and refined evolution.
