The Domaine Roulot Meursault Les Tillets 2007, born on a limestone terroir, expresses the elegance of Chardonnay. Notes of yellow fruits and chalky minerality make it a well-balanced wine. Best enjoyed with poultry or shellfish, it is at its peak.
Domaine Roulot
Heir to a family expertise rooted in Meursault, Domaine Roulot embodies the alliance between Burgundian tradition and contemporary standards of excellence.
- Terroir: Limestone and marl soils of the Côte de Beaune, fully south-facing, conferring on the wines a chalky minerality and a vibrant tension.
- Vinification: Aged in oak barrels, with a biodynamic approach to preserve the purity of the Chardonnay and reveal the most faithful expression of the terroir.
Tasting notes for Domaine Roulot Meursault Les Tillets 2007
To the eye: Golden robe with green highlights, of a silky clarity and a crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of ripe apple, Williams pear, acacia blossom and roasted hazelnut, underlined by a saline touch and a characteristic chalky minerality.
On the palate: Smooth and taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a persistent salinity, with a long and precise finish, marked by notes of flint and candied citrus.
Serve at 12°C in a white Burgundy wine glass to enhance its complexity.
Vintage 2007
A vintage marked by balanced maturity, offering wines that are both generous and remarkably fresh.
- Ageing potential: Best enjoyed until 2024, stored under optimal conditions (stable temperature, away from light).
