The Domaine Roulot Meursault Les Tessons Clos de Mon Plaisir 2003, from a south-facing monopole, embodies the finesse of Meursault. This white wine, with aromas of yellow fruit and flint, captivates with its saline minerality. Its rich and taut palate makes it an ideal wine for aging, perfect with lobster or poultry.
Domaine Roulot
Heir to a family tradition deeply rooted in Meursault, Domaine Roulot embodies the excellence of the great white wines of Burgundy.
- Terroir: Limestone and marl soils of the Côte de Beaune, where the south-facing hillside parcels reveal a chalky minerality and rare elegance.
- Vinification: A natural and precise approach, combining respect for the fruit and pure expression of the terroir, without technical artifice.
Tasting notes for Domaine Roulot Meursault Les Tessons Clos de Mon Plaisir 2003
To the eye: A golden robe with green reflections, of a silky and luminous texture, like a ray of sunlight captured in the glass.
On the nose: Aromas of acacia blossom, candied lemon and toasted hazelnut, followed by a saline touch and a chalky minerality that evokes the limestone soils of Meursault.
On the palate: A lively and precise attack, carried by a taut acidity and a smooth texture, while a long, saline finish leaves a persistent mineral impression.
Serve at 12–14°C in a white Burgundy wine glass to reveal its full complexity.
Vintage 2003
A vintage marked by intense summer heat, yielding rich and concentrated wines while retaining a beautiful mineral tension.
- Aging potential: Drink until 2030; store in a cool cellar (12–14°C) away from light.
