The Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume 2024 from Domaine Jean-Paul & Benoît Droin is born from the clay soils of Fourchaume. This Chardonnay, aged 40% in oak barrels, offers aromas of pear and almond, a lively and mineral palate, and a vanilla-tinged finish. To be enjoyed from 2027 onwards with oysters or fish.
A family estate rooted in the hillsides of Chablis, where heritage blends with a constant pursuit of precision.
- Terroir: 28 hectares of vines on the Jurassic soils of Chablis, where deep clay and limestone shape wines of distinctive minerality.
- Vinification: Subtle aging between oak barrels and stainless steel tanks, to preserve the purity of the Chardonnay while giving it a silky texture.

To the eye: a pale golden robe of crystalline clarity, where light dances on silvery reflections, revealing an almost silky texture.
On the nose: aromas of fresh Williams pear blossom into notes of dried flowers, followed by a hint of toasted almond and ripe apricot, all underscored by a subtle chalky salinity.
On the palate: a round and generous attack, quickly tensioned by a lively acidity that carries a saline minerality, while the long, vanilla-tinged finish leaves an impression of purity and elegance.
Serve between 10 and 12°C in a white Burgundy wine glass to reveal its full complexity.
