The Muscadet Gabbro Clos des Bouquinardières 2024 from Domaine de Bellevue expresses the gabbro soils of Gorges. Dry white wine made biodynamically, with saline minerality and aging on lees. Nose of citrus, lively and persistent palate. Pairings: oysters, scallops, or poultry.
Nestled in Gétigné, this family estate has embodied biodynamic rigor since 2001, where Jérôme Bretaudeau sculpts Muscadets of rare precision.
- Terroir : Gabbro and clay-quartz soils from Gorges, in the AOC Muscadet, where minerality expresses itself with unique directness.
- Winemaking : Aging on lees in underground tanks, indigenous yeasts, and minimal intervention to preserve the purity of the fruit.
Tasting notes for Domaine de Bellevue Muscadet Gabbro Clos des Bouquinardières 2024
To the eye – A pale robe with green hues, of crystalline clarity, almost silky in the light.
On the nose – First lime and tart apple, then Williams pear and white flowers, before a saline touch emerges.
On the palate – A lively and taut attack, where the acidity unfolds into a chiseled texture, carried by a chalky minerality and a saline finish.
Serve between 10 and 12°C in a medium-sized white wine glass to release its aromas.
Vintage 2024
A vintage marked by vibrant freshness, where the balance between acidity and minerality expresses itself with remarkable energy.
- Aging potential : To be enjoyed within 5 to 7 years, kept away from light and temperature fluctuations.
