From the chalky soils of Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Maltroie, this 2024 combines yellow flowers and peach with a spiced touch. The palate, lively and silky, reveals notes of dried apricot and a saline minerality. Ideal until 2044 with scallops or creamy cheeses.
A family estate rooted at the heart of Chassagne-Montrachet, where respect for the terroir has guided every gesture for generations.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone and marly soils of the Côte de Beaune, shaping wines of chalky minerality and rare elegance.
- Winemaking: Gentle pressing, aging in French oak barrels for a pure expression and a vibrant tension.
To the eye: A golden robe with green highlights, of a silky clarity and a crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of yellow flowers and acacia blossom into notes of wild peach, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of fresh ginger.
On the palate: Smooth and taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, giving way to a long and persistent finish, marked by nuances of dried apricot and orange zest.
Serve between 12 and 14°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal all its complexity.
A vintage marked by a balanced ripeness, combining freshness and concentration for a precise expression of the terroir.
- Aging potential: To be kept until 2044 under optimal conditions (cool and humid cellar).
