Champagne Pierre Brocard Dits-Lieux Brut Nature, from Celles-sur-Ource, blends Pinot Noir (75%), Pinot Blanc (20%) and Chardonnay. Aged in tanks and barrels, it reveals fresh fruit notes and a fresh, mineral palate. Ideal as an aperitif or with fish; enjoy within 5 years.
A family-run house rooted in Celles-sur-Ource in the Côte des Bar, where five generations of winegrowers carry on a legacy of precision and respect for the terroir.
- Terroir: Kimmeridgian and Portlandian limestone soils of the Côte des Bar shape wines with chalky minerality and characteristic tension.
- Winemaking: A multi-vintage blend aged in a solera since 1991, with spontaneous fermentation and extended aging on the lees for a pure, vibrant expression.
Tasting notes for Champagne Pierre Brocard Dits-Lieux Brut Nature
Appearance – A pale gold color with green highlights, silky clarity and fine, persistent bubbles.
On the nose – Aromas of redcurrant and fresh cherry, followed by hawthorn blossom, then a hint of toasted brioche and subtle salinity reminiscent of the limestone soils.
On the palate – A texture both soft and taut, driven by lively acidity and chalky minerality, with a long, slightly minty finish that brings together freshness and depth.
Serve between 8 and 10 °C in a narrow champagne flute to preserve the finesse of the bubbles.
