The Pierre Péters Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Brut, born from the chalky soils of the Côte des Blancs, blends more than twenty harvests of Chardonnay. Aromas of toasted almond, lemon and honey, a lively and mineral palate. Perfect for 5 to 10 years of aging, it pairs with seafood and fine fish.
A family estate rooted at the heart of the Côte des Blancs, where six generations have been crafting exceptional Champagnes from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.
- Terroir : Chalky soils of the Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs, the cradle of Chardonnay, where minerality expresses itself with rare precision.
- Vinification : Meticulous blends of more than twenty vintages, aged on fine lees for a silky texture and vibrant tension.
Tasting notes for Pierre Péters Cuvée de Réserve Blanc de Blancs Brut
- To the eye : Pale golden robe with green reflections, of crystalline clarity and a smooth texture, like a veil of silk on the glass.
- On the nose : Freshness of candied citrus — lime and orange zest — interwoven with notes of toasted almond, acacia honey and a saline touch, evoking the iodized air of the chalky hillsides.
- On the palate : A lively and precise attack, carried by a taut acidity that unfolds into a chalky minerality, while aromas of ripe white fruits and toasted brioche persist in a long, saline finish.
Serve between 8 and 10°C in a tall Champagne flute to preserve its aromatic purity.
Non-vintage
A harmonious blend of more than twenty harvests, where the 2022 base brings freshness and energy, balanced by the maturity of previous years.
- Aging potential : Store for 5 to 8 years in a cool cellar (12–14°C) and away from light, to allow its mineral complexity and toasted nuances to blossom.
