The Château Rayas 2009, a red wine from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, is born of a Grenache grown on unique sandy soils. Its aromatic profile, between candied fruits and spices, is balanced on the palate by a silky texture and a mineral freshness. Ideal through 2045, it pairs beautifully with game and rich dishes.

- Winemaking: Traditional methods, ageing in oak barrels for a silky and precise expression of Grenache.
Tasting notes for the wine Château Rayas Rayas 2009
To the eye: Deep red robe with garnet highlights, of a velvety texture and a crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of candied morello cherry, blood orange and fresh lavender, followed by deeper notes of cherry stone and liquorice, all lifted by a subtle chalky salinity.
On the palate: An ample and silky attack, carried by a lively acidity and a saline minerality, leading to a long and taut finish, where dark fruits and gentle spices mingle.
Serve between 16 and 18°C in a Bordeaux-style red wine glass to reveal its full complexity.
Vintage 2009
A generous and balanced vintage, where the summer heat ripened the grapes without diminishing their freshness, yielding a wine that is both rich and precise.
- Ageing potential: 25 to 30 years, to be stored in a cool cellar (12–14°C) and away from light.
