From the clay-limestone terroirs of Bandol, Tempier Rosé 2025 blends Mourvèdre (55%), Grenache and Cinsault. Vinified in stainless steel vats, it reveals stone fruit and floral notes, a taut palate and a mineral finish. Enjoy young or after 2–5 years for nuances of candied citrus.
A pillar of the Bandol appellation, this family estate has embodied the union of exceptional Provençal terroir and exacting winemaking for generations.
- Terroir: Bandol’s clay-limestone soils, including sandy limestone and dolomite, shape rosés with rare minerality and characteristic tension.
- Winemaking: Skin maceration or direct pressing, fermentation in stainless steel or concrete vats, and patient aging to reveal the purity of the fruit and the complexity of the terroir.
Tasting notes for Domaine Tempier Bandol Rosé 2025
Appearance: Pink with salmon highlights and a silky, luminous texture.
On the nose: Aromas of ripe stone fruit—apricot and white peach—mingle with fresh guava, tart red berries and spring flowers, lifted by a saline, mineral hint characteristic of Bandol’s chalky soils.
On the palate: A dense, precise opening, supported by lively acidity that lends elegant tension. Mineral nuances and a long, slightly ethereal finish leave an impression of purity and lingering freshness.
Serve between 10 and 12°C in a white wine glass to release the full complexity of this characterful rosé.
